March 22 at 3:12 PMI was hoping to be able to announce this to the team in person, but with the circumstances in the world right now this is the next best option I have. I’m very excited and blessed to be the new Head Coach of Fieldcrest Football! I want to start by thanking God for the tremendous opportunity He has given me and my family. Without Him none of this would be possible. ”I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Phil 4:13 Becoming a head coach has always been my biggest dream, and I would not be where I am or be the person I am today without my wife Melinda. She has been the best teammate I could have asked for from day one. She has also been the most supportive person of me and my coaching lifestyle and I cannot thank her enough. She has been the rock to our family as it has grown and changed over the years. What she does behind the scenes at home while I’m away coaching is more than I could ever give her credit for. A big thank you to Coach Joe Sassano for giving me my start in coaching and being a great mentor. I am forever grateful! Also thank you to all of the other LP coaches I have had the pleasure of coaching with and learning from during my time there. I want to thank Derek Schneeman for letting me start the journey at Fieldcrest with him 6 years ago. We have built a great friendship, and I really enjoyed all the success we’ve shared together. You will definitely be missed here! To the other coaches that I am truly grateful for and excited to continue working with, this opportunity would not be what it is without you guys! I absolutely love the coaching family here: Mitch Neally, Craig Meyer, Wayne Weber, Logan Weber, Zach Meyer, Anthone Rogers (and all of their families)! To Fieldcrest administration, thank you for believing in me and giving me this opportunity to continue making Fieldcrest a great place to be! The Freeman family is incredibly excited to start this journey with our Fieldcrest Football family in 2020. God Bless! #ALL IN |
